At Monachyle Mhor, our story begins and continues on the land. Nestled in the wild beauty of the Scottish Highlands, our luxury boutique hotel began life as a working farm and remains one to this day. The rhythms of nature, heritage, and animal life continue to shape everything we do.
Running daily from 10am, our immersive farm tours are open to both hotel guests and day visitors. You’ll meet our friendly animals and get up close with life on the farm. All of our animals are gentle and well-handled, and enjoy meeting visitors of all ages.
You’ll meet our donkeys (Jake & Milo) and goats (Skip & Wotsit), feed them and get to know their playful personalities, and meet our ponies (Cosmo & Holly), along with our Highland cow (Donald). Children and adults alike love collecting fresh eggs from our hens. No two days are ever quite the same on the farm—so come ready to get involved and enjoy the experience.
